Since 1998, the common collective, known as the suspicious crew, has supported research and educational initiatives. The suspicious project was started by Matt and Truman to create IPv6 network connectivity; it later took on a life of it’s own with other suspicious crew being involved in other interesting projects (operating systems, music, hardware, etc)...
We provide our crew with the following: secure email, web hosting, and mailing lists in a friendly environment. We know all the people on our systems personally. Think Craigslist, but more intimate and technically focused.
We encourage active participation in forums and communities that help to shape the direction of future technologies. Suspicious crew is active in various IETF, MPLS, and Open Source forums.
